Brooklyn Chop House: Deli Classics Meet Chinese Favorites

Known for merging classic deli options with signature Chinese favorites, Brooklyn Chop House continues to offer some of the most creative culinary creations in the city and beyond. Though they have expanded to a second location in Times Square, the concept was originally introduced in the heart of the Financial District, just steps away from the Brooklyn Bridge. Whichever sleek space you visit, diners will experience their famous dim sum, homemade dumplings, noodles, 35-day dry-aged prime steaks, and much more.

Their innovative and tasty concept was curated in 2018 by partners Stratis Morfogen, Robert Cummings, and David Thomas. They even bring their popular products to supermarkets in a partnership with Brooklyn Chop House superfan, singer Patti LaBelle.

You never dared to even think of dumplings with deli influence: we’re talking Philly Cheesesteak Dumplings, Reuben Dumplings, Pastrami Dumplings, and other innovative varieties. You can also enjoy Philly Cheesesteak Spring Rolls, or stick with classic noodles, as well as tasty chicken, beef, lobster, shrimp, or pork satays, Organic Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Rock Shrimp Tempura, and fresh salads. Chophouse classics include a two-pound Salt-and-Pepper Lobster, 7-pound authentic Peking Duck, plus their Salt-and-Pepper-Style Soft Shell Crabs, Chilean Sea Bass, Shrimp, and Calamari. Spicy Velvet Chicken and Steamed Montauk Black Bass are other traditional delicacies served up deliciously.

Their decadent 48-oz Dry Aged Porterhouse, Colorado Lamb Chops, Prime Dry Aged Bone-in Tomahawk, and 18-oz grilled or crispy Filet Mignon will have you licking your chops, all amidst a sexy, vibrant scene featuring exposed brick walls and a dimly lit dining area.

Also known for their frosé, fun flavors include Red Velvet, Lychee, Tropical Punch, and White Peach Sangria. Their extensive wine list features selections from around the world, while they also have a wonderful sake menu.

You better believe that they offer Brooklyn-worthy Brooklyn Style Cheesecakes with flavors such as Hennessey XO, Apple Crumb, and Peanut Butter Cup. Their Crispy Apple Wantons are also a must-try.

For an equally tasty time, the new Times Square location is located in the middle of it all is a perfect place when going to or from a show—or they can be the main attraction.
