The Little Red Dot: Singapore Showcase pop-up at the fashionista NoHo favorite– Showfields 11 Bond Street

The Little Red Dot: Singapore Showcase at Showfields is a four-month showcase of jewelry, beauty, footwear and other blossoming lifestyle brands rooted in Singapore. A common theme that binds them together is their passion for social impact. Championing causes like inclusivity, mental health, and conscious production and consumption, these brands are dedicated to not just making quality products, but making a difference. Organised by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), the Little Red Dot: Singapore Showcase is a destination to shop for something meaningful this gifting season.

“We are excited that our Singapore lifestyle brands are being showcased in New York City, one of the world’s major retail capitals. These designers, artisans, and business owners are passionate about making a difference to society through their products. This showcase is an excellent chance for Singapore brands to share their distinctive brand stories and quality offerings with the global consumers in New York City, and create opportunities for collaborations in the US. We look forward to bringing more exciting Singapore brands to the US,” said EnterpriseSG’s Director of Retail & Design, Mr Alan Yeo.

Featuring up-and-coming lifestyle brands from Singapore, the retail pop-up, which runs through January 22, 2023, is drawing the shopping crowds at Showfields. The brands featured at the showcase include the hip, socially conscious Anothersole which offers lightweight leather flats perfect for wandering the city streets. Anothersole reimagines the approach to footwear with the elegance of an oxford and the comfort of a sneaker. ”All this whilst reducing the carbon footprint through our use of recycled and plant-based materials,” the Anothersole representative shared with the intrigued crowd of fashion influencers during the official launch event of the showcase on October 21 which was unveiled by Singapore’s Ambassador to the US Mr Ashok Kumar Mirpuri.

Eden + Elie is another socially focused brand. ”We design functional, modern pieces with a unique aesthetic,” said founder and designer, Stephanie Choo. ”Our pieces are intricately crafted by our neurodiverse team of artisans, using premium materials and components that are made to last.” Her co-founder, Leon Toh, added, ”Since our pieces are woven by hand, no two are exactly alike and we are proud to showcase the beauty of the craftsmanship that our artisans have mastered.”

Singapore skincare brand, Porcelain, also sparked curiosity on the opening night of the showcase. Porcelain is a premium skincare line that caught the attention of Singapore’s beauty influencers. And no doubt, they are now grabbing the attention of the savvy Manhattan beauty mavens.

The showcase at Showfields is part of Made With Passion, a Singapore initiative that celebrates Singapore lifestyle brands through the stories of hard work and passion behind each founder’s pursuit of excellence to offer quality products to the world.
