Hamptons Fashion Week® Brings Some Extra Haute to the Hamptons – and PARK was a Part of it All!

Things in the Hamptons this summer are hot – and more importantly, haute – especially after this year’s Hamptons Fashion Week®, which was a full weekend of fashion and fun, and PARK was proud to be a part of it all as a media sponsor. On Friday, August 5th, Models strutted their stuff on Jobs Lane in Southampton which was turned into one stylish runway to kick off the festivities. The show was followed by a Sip and Shop party at select stores including Gems, Ralph Lauren, FiveStory, Marina St. Barths, and Christian Louboutin, where guests could enjoy featured bites, cocktails, and a Sip and Shop Passport with an opportunity to win $5000 worth of SWAG!

Now in its fourth year, Hamptons Fashion Week® honored some of the biggest names in the industry, including Nicole Miller, who was presented with the Fashion Icon Award for Designer of The Year”, celebrating her 40th Anniversary in fashion, which was presented by Candace Bushnell, creator of Sex and the City. Beauty Sponsor, Alicia Grande, CEO of Grande Cosmetics, presented the “Rising Star Award” to designer Gloria Lee, while Dee Rivera, Founder of Hamptons Fashion Week®, presented celebrity designer Cesar Galindo, with “Trendsetter of the Year”; and Dan’s Papers’ owner and president of Schneps Media, Victoria Schneps, presented the “Media Maven of the Year Award” to award-winning author Constance C.R. White.

The outdoor tents filled with fashion fans transformed the town into a haute haven with runway shows, interactive experiences, award presentations and much more! Saturday, August 6th, was a stylish spectacle which showcased Hampton’s Fashion Week®’s Full Frontal Fashion Day of Shows, with exhibitors including Grande Cosmetics, Nestseekers and Amazing World Realty, Marc Harvey Beauty, YouCam, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation, Power up With Samsung, Smart Water and others. Attendees enjoyed signature cocktails from Belvoir, Wine365 Brands, Portofino Gin, and Maison Marcel Wine, as well as small bites from local restaurants and brands including Ruta Oaxaca, Backyard Barbeque, The Complete Burger, DeJesus Deli & Grocery, Scott’s Protein Balls, and Liege Waffle.

New this year was an introduction to the fashion metaverse presented by MetaBurnett of BURNETT NEW YORK INC., a Metaverse Fashion Installation for guests, presenting a glimpse
into a new world of experiential fashion. VIP Beauty Sponsor Grande Cosmetics booth featured the latest beauty trends highlighting a fashionista’s best features: eyes, lips and lashes including a digital makeover that can be seen with a selfie app by YouCam.

The full day of shows began with sustainable collections by EQUALS HUMAN, and GLORIA LEE at the Garden tent. Next up in the posh lineup, was BOLD Swim and Origin of Oceans + SORABYRD by JORDAN BYRD styled by Influencer + Fashion Director, Olga Ferrara. Nicole Miller also presented her archives of 40 years of fashion with her iconic collections from the 80’s to the 2010’s. The fashionable affair continued as VIPs and celebrities ended the night with a private After Party at an estate sponsored by Nestseekers and Amazing World Realty.

To celebrate another successful weekend of fashion, special attendees were invited to toast to the industry’s biggest trendsetters with tasty bites at a brunch curated by Picnics and Peonies Luxury Picnics. Guests also enjoyed a meet and greet and Q+A with Fashion Icon Award Honoree Constance White and and author of the best-selling book “How To Slay” before a fashion presentation by Diana Couture.

“Hamptons is my happy place and I’m so proud of my team and what we built so far for Hamptons Fashion Week. This year we are bringing the Hamptons Fashion week Metaverse
which is a whole new level of experiencing Fashion Week.” said Dee Rivera, Founder of Hamptons Fashion Week ®. “This special event is a unique, fun, and all-encompassing
opportunity to share with residents and visitors, enjoy local fashion and beauty brands found right here in the East End, and give all designers an opportunity to showcase their collection.”
