Abel Horvath: The Visionary CEO at the Helm of Horvath Holding, Carving a Path of Expansion and Philanthropy

Abel Horvath, the dynamic business magnate at the helm of Horvath Holding, is not just a tour de force in the realm of business, but a forerunner of positive change whose entrepreneurial ventures extend across multiple industries. His portfolio boasts an impressive array of companies, including My Package Forwarder, American Distribution Company and That’s Custom, among others.

Born in Hungary and having spent most of his life in Germany, Horvath’s journey to success was marked by youthful ambition and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. Graduating high school prematurely and earning his bachelor’s degree at the tender age of 18 from Edinburgh, Scotland, and later a master’s degree from the University of Liverpool, he was swiftly snapped up by Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Germany. His remarkable credentials soon turned him into the youngest employee with a bachelor’s degree to serve as Executive Assistant to the Chief Strategy Officer.

His career trajectory soared as he transitioned into serving the CEO of Volkswagen Group China, traveling between Germany and China, and eventually ascending to the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief Strategy Officer for Volkswagen Global.

The entrepreneurial spark ignited within Horvath led him to cultivate his own empire. He co-founded Shop2Ship from his new base in Miami in 2017 and entered the fulfillment industry in 2020 by establishing Fulfillment Hub USA. The venture now enjoys a robust presence across locations in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, multiple spaces in the Miami area, and most recently, in Poland and Hungary.

“In business, the key to success is not just about being in the right place at the right time, but seeing where you can be in the future,” quotes Horvath. “That’s why in 2023, we are planning to open new fulfillment facilities in Orlando, Las Vegas, and Delaware, further cementing our footprint in the logistics industry.”

Exemplifying business with a heart, Horvath’s enterprise emerged as a beacon of hope during the Ukrainian crisis, serving as one of the largest logistics facilitators of humanitarian aid by shipping vital supplies on a weekly basis.

Undeterred by the magnitude of his achievements, Horvath continues to expand. Plans to inaugurate fulfillment centers in South Africa and Germany are in the pipeline, and his custom manufacturing company, That’s Custom, has already garnered acclaim as the official customization company for the Iron Man competition.

His diverse portfolio under Horvath Holding encompasses everything from lifestyle products to consulting firms, and a prominent software company, AppManufact, making waves in the VR and gaming space in Miami. “After our success as a third-party game developer, we are now venturing into creating our own game. It’s a natural progression, another challenge we are excited to undertake,” Abel shares.

Following his success stateside, the cosmopolitan Horvath shifted his focus to assisting European brands in penetrating the U.S. market. His wisdom for budding entrepreneurs is simple, “Being an entrepreneur is a lifestyle not a job. You need to truly love what you are doing, otherwise it’s not going to work.”

His ambition to become a staple in the e-commerce industry is steadily materializing, particularly as online shopping becomes increasingly prevalent. As he affirms, “You need a fulfillment center for all products sold online or in retail, so we plan on continuing to grow and expand.”

When the day’s work is done, Abel enjoys the serene side of Miami, indulging in boating, hiking, or learning to play the saxophone. His life is a testament to his belief in continuous learning and trying new things, both professionally and personally.
