Jean Shafiroff Hosts Birthday Reception
Jean Shafiroff, philanthropist, TV host and author, celebrated her birthday with a crowd of well-wishers at her residence in New York City. The event was held in Honor of American Red Cross. To honor New York Fashion Week she wore four different outfits from designers including, Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera, Victor dE Souza and Malan Breton.
Notable attendees included: Jean Shafiroff, Candace Bushnell, Jon Ledecky (owner of the New York Islanders), Consul General of Italy to the United Nations Fabrizio di Michele and his wife Giorgio De Parolis, Julia Haart, Ruth LaFerla, Bianca Lopez, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Doreen Howe, Jose Domingue, Angel Pai, fashion designers Victor dE Souza , Jason T. Busch, Maryanne Grisz, CD Greene, Nabys Vielman, Ron Dyce, Cyril Verdavainne, and Fern Clausius.
Doreen Howe, Regional CEO of the American Red Cross spoke at the event. In addition, Jean gave a passionate speech about how devastating the California fires were and asked guests to donate instead of giving her a gift. Jean Shafiroff also pledged a generous contribution.
